Marketing Copywriter


As A-LIGN's Marketing Copywriter, you’re capable of producing compelling, engaging, clear copy for a variety of channels including website, PPC advertising, email campaigns, social media, sales collateral and more. You will be responsible for writing, researching key words, developing key marketing headlines and taglines, and proofreading all external-facing content for accuracy, quality, and consistent brand voice.

You’re a master wordsmith who thrives on collaboration and appreciates that feedback (giving and receiving) is an integral part of the creative process. The prospect of building something from the ground up doesn’t scare you, it excites you.

Your bar is higher than most, and you take great pride in producing quality work. You love telling your brand and product story across a variety of marketing channels and excel at finding that perfect headline.

REPORTS TO: Director of Product Marketing 



  • Create clear, concise, and brand-compliant copy for a variety of mediums and messaging, both internally- and externally-facing
  • Interpret complex product and service line messaging into persuasive copy concepts
  • Establish a process for governance of content as it relates to brand voice, style, and tone
  • Support marketing channels related to digital marketing, email programs, PR, and more
  • Work with our demand generation team and Sr. Content Manager to measure and optimize content on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Proofread all external-facing content for accuracy, quality, and consistent brand voice
  • Utilize SEO/SEM copywriting best practices



  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field


  • 2+ years of B2B copywriting experience, preferably technology or SaaS focused
  • Comfort with Google Analytics as well as other SEO or Social platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a knack for explaining complex topics using simple terms
  • Exceptional communication skills and works well on a team
  • Detail-oriented, setting the highest bar for quality
  • The ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture
