A-SCEND’s Newly Released “Link Evidence” Feature Reduces Audit Time
Hi everyone, I’m back this week to let you know about another very helpful feature that was just released in A-SCEND. For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Jason Kosecki, A-LIGN’s Principal Product Operations Manager for the A-SCEND platform. It’s my job to listen to customer feedback and use this information to continuously improve the technology. In the coming weeks and months, you’ll be hearing a lot more from me in an effort to keep you updated on all things A-SCEND. My team is doing some pretty cool things with the platform that you won’t want to miss!
In case you’re not familiar, A-SCEND is our end-to-end compliance management platform purpose-built for cybersecurity compliance – with an emphasis on the end-user. A-SCEND streamlines the audit process by centralizing evidence collection, standardizing compliance requests, and consolidating multiple audits into a single audit experience.

“Link Evidence” Allows Users to Link Relevant Requests Across Engagements
Many of our clients have simultaneous audits that share similar evidence and currently, and until now there was no easy way to apply evidence uploaded on one engagement to another. The same piece of evidence would have to be manually uploaded for each engagement, which as you can imagine, is a time-consuming task.
Our development team has released a feature that allows users to link evidence that are relevant to requests across engagements. Within a current engagement, the client can select “Other Engagement Evidence” (blue text in the image below) and choose another engagement to tie to the current engagement (image below shows list of engagements from which to select).
The ability to link evidence to other engagements will be a huge time saver for simultaneous audits, multiple audits over time, and customers looking to apply the same evidence from a previous audit.
What are the benefits of this new feature?
The addition of the “Link Evidence” feature streamlines the audit process by deduplicating evidence requests, saving the user a great deal of time. With the release of add “Link Evidence”, you can now:
