Human Resources Director

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Human Resources Director will work independently as well as collaboratively to execute human resources functions and to provide leadership to the HR team and business stakeholders. In this role, you will maintain and enhance the HR department by helping shape our road map to scale operations efficiency, organizational design planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to business stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on HR matters, as needed. You will work with the HR team to transform existing HR operational processes and procedures. 

The ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative, results-oriented leader who is particularly adept at balancing multiple priorities and challenges. This role requires someone dedicated to developing a strong, diverse, and collaborative organization, with a strong work ethic, a passion for managing the details within a growing business and willingness to contribute where necessary. To be successful in this role, you should have strong knowledge of labor regulations and experience with managing complex employee relations issues. You will also work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team and the Organizational and People Development Team. 

REPORTS TO: CHRO

PAY CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Improve and maintain business relationships, increase productivity, and retention through various strategies and initiatives
  • Develop and grow a high performing HR team
  • Strong background in HR Operations and ability to oversee resources managing that area
  • Manage and resolve employee issues through HR policy guidance and interpretation 
  • Update and create HR operating policies and procedures. Advise stakeholders on HR policies/procedures/laws
  • Partner with business stakeholders to align business and people strategy
  • Oversee the process for total rewards, compensations strategy, and career pathways
  • Partner with business stakeholders to align business and people strategy
  • Liaise with our Organization and People Development Team to provide development tools, coaching and mentoring, performance management, and leadership development
  • Stay abreast of state employment laws in all states, the UK, and Bulgaria

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION      

Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or relevant discipline

EXPERIENCE     

  • At least 10 years of experience in human resources operations field 
  • Strong experience with HRIS systems 
  • Strong experience as an HR Business Partner
