About the Role
The IT Support Intern works independently and collaboratively to execute IT Department activities. This role’s primary responsibility is to maintain laptop inventory, perform laptop replacements, and provide Tier 1 end-user support onsite and remote. Additional responsibilities will be assigned for various IT Department strategies that support our fast-paced, quickly growing, international organization.
Reports to: IT Manager
Pay Classification: Part-Time
Responsibilities
- Setup new devices, wipe and prepare old devices for disposal/donation
- Housekeeping of office hardware
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Prepare various reports
- Assist with phishing campaign simulations
- Assist with IT related tickets/cases
- Assist with IT responsibilities as assigned by the IT team
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School diploma and is a current University student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Computer literacy / MS Office
- Precision-oriented with a high attention to detail
- Utilize online resources to solve complex problems
- Ability to adapt to changing standards and expectations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- A high degree of motivation
