About the Role
The Director of Global Field & Events will own the strategy and execution of A-LIGN’s event and field marketing programs worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for creating impactful experiences that elevate our brand, engage prospects and clients, and drive measurable pipeline growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to deliver events that strengthen relationships and position A-LIGN as a leader in cybersecurity compliance.
This is a high-visibility role requiring creativity, strategic thinking, and flawless execution. You will act as a player-coach that will be responsible for overseeing a small team, while supporting strategic execution with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute A-LIGN’s field and event marketing strategy from selection through follow up across hosted, sponsored, and partner programs, including internal events such as SKO and President’s Club.
- Own and update the event playbook to ensure continued optimization of performance and execution.
- Design and deliver memorable, on-brand experiences—from executive dinners, conferences large and small, and activations to engage and delight customers and prospects.
- Partner with sales, partnerships and revenue operations to ensure event targeting, engagement, alignment and measurable outcomes are consistently delivered.
- Manage the events calendar, budgets, vendors, and logistics with precision and attention to detail.
- Drive a performance-based field & events program, measuring and optimizing by setting goals, tracking and analyzing results, and continuously optimize both execution and strategy to exceed desired outcomes.
- Lead and scale the program – building infrastructure for long-term impact and expansion of the events and field function.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
EXPERIENCE
- 5–8+ years in field marketing, events marketing, or experiential marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to own both strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams.
- Willingness to travel for major events (approximately 25–40%).
