ABOUT RICK

Rick Orloff is a Strategic Advisor to A-LIGN and the VP, CISO at Everpure (formerly Pure Storage), a Fortune 1000 company. He has over 20 years of security experience in Silicon Valley and global markets. 

Rick has previously held executive leadership roles at Apple, eBay, 8×8, Code42, and Lam Research, leading and building a variety of comprehensive security and risk management programs to protect sensitive data and critical initiatives. He has been directly accountable for Board of Directors (BOD) briefings, and SEC 8K, 10K Cyber Security disclosures for global risk management. He also served as a Board Member for Loch Technologies as well as many other Advisory Board positions.  

During Rick’s career, he has held a variety of government security clearances including, United States Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI). He was brought in to advise the White House, Pentagon, NSA, CIA, FBI and other ‘approved’ governments on classified projects. Additionally, Rick designed and built multiple world-class Security Operation Centers converging cyber and physical data artifacts delivering meaningful and actionable intelligence.
