Two appointments to the FICPA board mark the company’s longstanding dedication to excellence in the accounting profession

TAMPA, Fla. – (July 14, 2026) – A-LIGN, a leading provider in cybersecurity compliance, today announced that two of its Certified Public Accountants were appointed to the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) 2026-2027 Board of Directors. Alex Welsh, Senior Manager of Service Delivery Operations at A-LIGN will serve as a Board Member, and Katey Exum, Associate Manager at A-LIGN, will serve as the Young CPA Committee Chair. Alex and Katey occupy two seats on the FICPA’s 12-member Board, comprised of CPAs from across the state, from firms large and small, from both public and private accounting. 

A-LIGN has long been dedicated to supporting FICPA, and the accounting industry as a whole, with the company’s CEO and Founder, Scott Price, having volunteered with the organization starting in 1999 and continuing until he served as the Chair of the Board of Governors in 2012-2013.
